Beats Fit Pro were released on 1st November 2021 for $199, while the Beats Studio Buds came out on 24th June 2021 for $149.99. Keep reading the article for a detailed comparison between the two!

Earbud Design

The Beats Fit Pro has a unique design, with the most significant difference between it and the regular earbuds being the sporty wingtip. The wingtip hooks on inside the ear to ensure that the earbuds dont fall off. It is made of silicon rubber to be more comfortable for the user.

The Beats Fit Pro come in four color options; Beats Black, Beats White, Stone Purple, and Sage Gray.

The Beats Studio Buds have a distinctive design that is similar to other earbuds except for the part that sticks out. This is the microphone which can also be used to hold the earbuds. Overall, the Studio buds have a great design that is made to be stable and comfortable.

The Beats Studio Buds come in five color options; Black, Red, White, Ocean Blue, and Moon Gray.

Case Design

The case for the Beats Fit Pro is smaller and more compact than other Beats earbuds cases, which is charged via USB C.

The Beats Studio Buds also have a simple case which uses USB C for charging.

Sound Quality

Equipped with a 9.5-millimeter driver, the Beats Fit Pro has excellent sound quality, clarity, and punchy bass. It also has adaptive eq, which avoids voice distortions at higher volumes.

On the other hand, Beats Studio Buds have a more pronounced bass than the competition, which is not surprising as having a punchy bass is baked into beats’ DNA. However, the Studio Buds lack sound separation, and users have trouble hearing the nuanced sounds because the eq prioritizes the bass.

However, the overall sound quality is rock solid.

Mic Quality

The Beats Fit Pro has great microphone quality, which can be compared to other earbuds, such as the AirPods Pro.

One of the few negatives of the Beats Studio Buds is its microphone quality. The mic on these earphones is inferior when compared to other earbuds. And due to poor microphone quality, its transparency mode is also awful, and the clarity isn’t that good either.

Touch Controls

The Beats Fit Pro has physical control buttons on the earbuds, which are easy to use and soft to the touch. These buttons can be used to control music playback, answer/denying of calls, noise cancellation, and transparency mode.

The Beats Studio Buds also have physical buttons, which are used for similar purposes as the Beats Fit Pro.

Battery Life

The battery life of the Beats Fit Pro is rated at six hours with ANC, and seven hours without ANC. The earbuds can also be used for an extra twenty hours when the case is fully charged.

The Beats Studio Buds’ battery life is rated at five hours with ANC and eight hours without ANC. The case also has a battery backup of about ten hours with ANC enabled and sixteen hours with it disabled.
