Look at the Model Number

The Model Number is a combination of numbers used to identify a particular product, design, or manufacturer. In some cases, the design of two different products is almost indistinguishable, such as LinkBuds and LinkBuds S, and some of the sony headphones. So in these cases, the model number is used.

You can find the model number on the headband or inside the headband cover of your Sony headphones. The model number for the headphones is present in the name, such as WH-1000XM5 or MDR-ZX110.

For the earbuds, you can find the model number either on the bottom, within, or behind the charging case. The model number for the earbuds is also present in the name, such as LinkBuds and LinkBuds S.

 Look at the Serial Number

Unlike the model number, the serial number consists only of numbers, and these numbers can also be used to identify your Sony headphones or earbuds. You can find the serial number in the same place as the model number.
