CentralSound Replacement Ear Pad Cushions for Sony WH-1000XM4 WH1000XM4 Headphones

I'm so glad these exist. The original ear pads for my headphones got damaged and I was worried I wouldn't be able to use the headphones anymore. These replacements were extremely easy to install. It took no more than a minute. The quality actually seems better than the original ear pads.

Very comfortable, newer padding helped with noise cancelling a lot.

I changed the ear pads and the battery. I found the instructions very helpful. One change is I did not have to remove the connector to the cover. I see why it is done. The hardest part was the old battery was sticking to the case.

The finished product actually did sound better than before. I use mine everyday for about 3 hours.

These ear pads are quite nice. Blocks ambient background noise nicely due to fit. Comfortable. The kit was easy to install. All parts fit exact. Thanks.

The replacement kit worked great and the headphones are just as comfortable. The only thing I can’t get working again is the autooff. But it’s not a huge deal.

Great ear pads nice and soft. Once your ear pads show any sign of cracking its time to replace them. Trust me just pop your own ones off and take a look for ear wax residue or any other gross stuff. Just replace them its worth it.

I sleep in my headphones every night, so my pads wear down faster than most people's. I've tried several other replacement brands, and these are always the ones I come back to. The shipping is fast, the product is both easy to install and super comfortable, and the noise-cancelling is equal to or better than the original pads. These are by far the best replacement pads for the best price. The only reason I didn't order them again is because I'm super excited to try the new CS gel cooling ones.

Two weeks in with Sony WH-1000XM4 replacement ear pads. So far very pleased. Have used a couple other venders with less than desirable results. Was going to pay ridiculous Sony OEM price, but they are indefinitely out of supply and got lucky finding Central Sound. Ordering process was a breeze and they perform very close to original level. I got these as backup because I will one day wear them out ….. I tend to fall asleep with them on (so comfortable).

Central Sound never disappoints. This is my 2nd replacement set for my Sony XM4’s and again I’m fully satisfied. Good price, good quality, and delivered on time. The handwritten “thank you” note on my invoice was a nice touch too — especially in today’s world.

Parts have just arrived, install made very straightforward with videos on CentralSound website, had bought multiple parts together do do a bit of a refurbish job on my 4 year old headphones and they're feeling good as new. Only complaint would be shipping related, fairly expensive to Europe, but with the quality and lack of alternatives, I still recommend wholeheartedly!

Headphones broke unfortunately at the airport during the crowd strike global tech issue. I ordered these parts on a Saturday and received them pretty quickly early in the following week. The repair was fast and easy and there were solid instructions available via YouTube which is how I found these parts in the first place. Would recommend!

Perfect replacement

I wish everything I bought online was a smooth as this. My old ear pads were super gross. I ordered some replacements for I think about $22 shipped, they arrived a couple days later, and it took me 5 minutes to install them watching the CentralSound YouTube tutorial. After install and a thorough wipe down, my headphones look and feel like new and I'm enjoying wearing them a lot more. Also, the pry tool they include is genius, I'm sure each tool only costs them like 33c but it just made installation super easy and meant I didn't need to over-complicate it by having to order a separate pry tool from another website. The pads themselves are comfortable and pretty much indistinguishable from stock.
