The little plastic circles to snap the cushions on are missing and I have no idea where to get them so I‘m not really experiencing anything with my product. In hand they do feel great though

So my experience replacing the ear pads for my Corsair headset wasn't painless, but I'm so relieved that the replacements did work, and that they continue to work very well. I bought the ear pads with the cooling gel, and I think it was a good choice. The pads are thick and pretty springy, haven't noticed any degradation in their structural integrity since I started using them. The surface of the pads cools down quite quickly after taking off the headset. For comparison, the original stock ear pads have almost no resistance to being squished. The headset sits somewhat loose and gives my ears plenty of space, though I do notice discomfort after long periods of keeping it on, as I always have with any headset I've used. As for the replacement process, that is where my criticisms come from, though I do still recommend buying these, especially if your stock ear pads have become borderline unusable like mine had...

I almost gave up on trying to replace the pads because it seemed like a futile effort. The video from Central Sound I watched made it look quite easy, but I really struggled for a while. Using a slotted screwdriver did actually do the trick for releasing the plastic rings from the...whatever you call the parts of the headphones that actually produce sound, though it did feel like I was about to break the rings/headset a couple times. For whatever it's worth, I don't think such a problem was avoidable, so that's not really a knock against the product. These headphones weren't designed with easy repair in mind, of course. The bigger issue was getting the protein leather to stretch around the circumference of the plastic ring. It required several attempts to catch the leather in the grooves and then try to keep that pattern going as I wrapped around the rings. What wound up finally working was using that screwdriver to jam the leather into the grooves more directly, once it had become stretched out enough from my prior attempts. I was reluctant to use such a method because I feared I would tear the leather, though it proved to be surprisingly durable. Once I had the ear pads fully on and secure, I was elated it had actually worked, and that the replacements felt so suitable.

I wrote that out not to discourage people from buying these pads, but to warn that the replacement process is not easy. I'm very happy with my purchase and I think it's great that such a solution to the problem of degraded/loosened ear pads exists. I would have had to buy a new headset or do some really shoddy DIY work (I am not good at DIY) to avoid that expenditure. Instead, I get to keep using this solid pair of headphones with no real downsides!

The earpads are soft, comfortable, very quiet, and and fit over my ears perfectly. The old ones were easy to remove but these replacements were impossible for me to install over the original clips. It appears to me there is too much fabric that's preventing me from engaging the clips on the headset. I simply can not apply enough pressure to make the connection. I wound up using Elmer's glue all to fasten the new earpads and that worked perfectly and should be easy to remove in the future if need be. That issue is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5.

Great feeling with the cooling gel. Peeling off the old cushions took a bit longer, than I thought, but the video instructions were clear and easy to follow.

Definitely an improvement from my warn out ones on my headset. Took two people to help install but after installation great improvement.

Originally was just looking for a battery replacement and ended up buying these as well as part of the bundle.

Super glad I did! The earpads feel much softer and cooler on the skin than the OEM earpads, will definitely be buying again for my next pair of headphones

The website said these wouldn’t be the XL sized cuffs or at least the packaging claimed they were the XL cuffs. Regardless, they fit well, and feel great. Cannot complain, good as new!

Got my ear pads replaced and its a night and day difference!! I've had my HS70 pro headset for about 4 years now and this is just what they needed to keep them going!! I also replaced my battery with the Central Sounds battery replacement and love how long my headset goes on a single charge!! The instructions and videos on youtube make installing these replacement parts easy! 10/10 products

Bought the cooling gel pair and it’s truly an amazing upgrade from the stock pair Corsair has on theirs. Took a few tries to get the pads on since my fingers are a little larger than average, but they went on with enough time! The cooling gel actually works too; it’s not a gimmick! Sat down for a solid 6 hour session yesterday and today and there was no irritation or heat around my ears. I also didn’t know this was a small business and thought it was a larger company, so the fact that they are able to make such a great product with so little hassle and fast response time really was incredible. If I or anyone I know ever needs a replacement for a product like this, I’ll be sure to come back or suggest this company! Awesome stuff here!

Got the new ear pieces and popped them on. Feel great!

Just got in my order of the Gel pads .. Order was shipped promptly and arrived on time. Installation was a breeze with the help of the video. I just stripped off the old torn up stock ear pads then popped back on the original plastic rings and made sure to line the groove up with the bottom, slipped the Gel pads on & tucked them in and was ready to go. Let me tell you how comfortable these pads are... they are way thicker than the oem pads making a better seal around my ear so I can hear much better the source I am listening to whether it's a game or a cd. My ears used to got hot and itchy .. not with the Gel pads .. nice and cool and 4 -5 hours sessions with them is a pleasure .. So in summary .. I get to support a independent company, shipping was on point and fast & customer service was superb. Now I enjoy wearing my headset more than I did when they were brand new out of the box .. Grab the Gel pads you won't regret it. Thanks CentralSound :)
