Appreciate the piece for my headset, thought I was screwed and would have to pay 200 for a new one. The new hinge works perfectly, the hinge has been on for about a month and, i’ve dropped the headphones a few times, and it has held up great. Honestly better than the original hinges.
i've owned my headphones for about 4 years now and randomly 2 weeks ago they broke and i couldn't figure out was wrong with them. of course my warranty had long expired so i contacted sony support and they quoted me $100 plus tax to fix them. Brand new would've been anywhere between $200 and $300. i bought the part for only $30 and was able to fix it myself! aside from the hinge they work exactly the same as the day i got them so i'm glad i could extend their lifespan by replacing it. thank you so much :)

Thank you for your parts and videos, I have ordered multiple times due to repeated hinge breaks on my xm4's. Maybe we should make these hinges out of something metal or anything other than plastic. Not trying to slow your business but Sony obviously exploited a design flaw and doesn't honor these breaks under warranty. It would be nice to enjoy the product instead of having to repair them continuously. Thanks!

The pieces for perfectly and restored my headphones
These guys are awesome, the repair part fit perfectly and they made a super in depth video on the repair. Without that video there was no chance I’d get it done. Quite literally no better option if you have a broken hinge swivel.
A little more expensive than a no name replacement but worthwhile for the free publicly avaliable guide. Very helpfull only too 1.5x the time of the guide to do the replacement.
