The kit comes with the part and the tools for this repair:
- Replacement headband arch in your choice of color
- Screws
- T5 Torx screwdriver
- Plastic pry tool
Step-by-Step: How to Replace the Beats Studio Pro Headband
Step 1: Remove the hinge screws
Fold the hinge over to expose the screws, then remove them with the T5 Torx driver. Do this on both sides.
Step 2: Loosen the headband
Gently pull the headband pieces apart just slightly. Don’t yank on it.
Step 3: Separate the pad from the headband
Starting at one end, slide the pry tool between the inner plastic of the rubber headband pad and the plastic headband on top, then pry upward. You’ll hear a snap as the clips separate. Do this along both sides.
Tip: Take your time. There’s no rush, and small clips hold the parts together.
Step 4: Fit the first end of the pad into the new headband
Look at the small tabs on the headband pad. They lock into the new plastic headband. Insert one end at a time and wiggle it a little until it seats.
Step 5: Work in the rubber end pieces
Work the small rubber pieces at the tip into place with your fingers or the pry tool. Make sure the wire is tucked in the middle, then squeeze the end so the clips click into place. Tuck any rubber still sticking out back in with the tool.
Step 6: Reinstall the first set of screws
Fold the hinge over and reinstall the screws on that side with the T5 driver. Make sure nothing is loose.
Step 7: Do the other side
Make sure the wire sits in the small channel on the upper part, then squeeze the two pieces together. You should hear clicks. If you don’t, they’re not lined up, so realign and try again. Work along both edges.
Tip: The rubber pieces can tear if you’re too rough. This is the slowest part of the job, so be patient.
Step 8: Tuck the rubber nubs and finish
Tuck the rubber nubs into the hinge and around the wire, fold the hinge over and install the last two screws. Check both hinges to make sure everything is tight.
Don’t replace your Beats. Fix them.

Get the Headband Kit: $29.99Why Does the Beats Studio Pro Headband Break?
The headband flexes every time you put the headphones on or take them off, and most of that stress lands near the ends where the plastic meets the hinge. Over time the plastic fatigues and cracks, usually right at the end. It’s a common failure and not a sign the rest of your headphones are worn out.
A new headband arch gets you back to a solid, like-new fit without paying for a new pair. Colors are matched to the Studio Pro.
