This is one of the most stupid decisions I have made. The quality of the kit was really poor, it looks like a $2 project from a flea market. the more I work on it to take the little screw off, the harder it gets . I have spent 5+ hours and still can’t get the screws out.
I was so upset I put everything in the trash.
Not recommending this repair kit to anyone.

I'm really sorry this turned into such a frustrating experience — 5+ hours on one screw is miserable, and I understand why you were upset.
When a screw gets harder to turn the more you work it, the head is usually starting to strip. Dirt, sweat, and old buildup packed into the screw head can also keep the driver from seating fully. A few tips that usually free them up:
- **Clean the screw head first.** Use a toothpick or soft toothbrush with a little isopropyl alcohol to clear out dirt and residue so the driver sits all the way in.
- **Push harder than you turn.** Firm downward pressure with slow, steady turning keeps the bit from slipping.
- **Add a little warmth.** A hair dryer on low for 20–30 seconds can soften factory thread-locker holding the screw.
- **Try a rubber band.** If the head is already rounded, press a wide rubber band between the bit and screw for extra grip.
- **Stop at the first slip.** Once the driver starts spinning without turning the screw, more attempts make it worse — pause and try the tips above.

The ability to repair your own items is a life principle I subscribe to, so when my Beats Studio Pro's headband broke I immediately began to search for how to replace them. Beats themselves quoted $200 to do the repair and my gut sank. I don't really have that kind of money to just drop on something that otherwise functions properly. Coming upon the replacement headband arch was a Godsend. The product is perfectly sized, excellent quality, and better than I could have hoped. My headphones feel better than brand new. 10/10 would order again. (Probably won't have to because the part is such a high quality though.)

Installation was a bit tricky but once it all set into place the fit was perfect. Overall good quality and so far has been holding up well during my workouts. The replacement part saved me lots of money having to buy entire new headphones.

The screwdriver did not work

The screws on these are very small, and the most common issue is the bit camming out of the head. The trick is firm, steady downward pressure while you turn slowly — most of your effort should be pushing into the screw, not twisting. Without that pressure the head strips very easily.
One other thing worth checking: if the headphones were repaired previously or aren't an authentic pair, the screws are sometimes a different type than the driver in the kit is made for.

Great replacement. Instructions were easy to follow
I wear my headphones for many hours a week. They need to stay snug on my head. The replacement parts worked great. My headphones snapped where the ear part folds into the top. I am back to riding my bike and the gym with the new parts.
