Step-by-Step: How to Replace the Ear Pads on Your Sony WH-1000XM5
Step 1 — Locate the Ear Pad Seam
Hold your WH-1000XM5 firmly and look at the edge of the ear pad where it meets the ear cup housing. You’ll notice a thin seam running around the full perimeter. This is where the ear pad clips onto the cup.
Step 2 — Release the Old Ear Pad
