While getting used to them on my Corsair Void Elites I kept feeling like the earcups were WET because of the cooling effect LOL. I kept thinking did I spill something on my headphones why are my headphone cups wet then instantly remembered it's my new earcups. VERY refreshing especially for longer sessions with them working and playing.
For me, leatherette closed ear cups are the worst because they cause hot, sometimes even sweaty ears: gross!
I am enjoying nice cool air conditioning where I wear these, I imagine ambient room temperature is why I enjoy the cooling function of these bad boys. I'm not curious how well they'll work in a hot room but I don't ever want to find out LOL.
I will most likely have to buy ANOTHER set for my new Razer Blackshark headset that will be arriving next week, as I am certain I will miss the feeling of cool wet-feeling-while-actually-dry and cool ears.

The new pads fit great and don't put as much pressure on the head as OEM. Overall, I recommend the product am I'm satisfied for the savings of not having to purchase a new headset. However, the material that holds them to the frame of headset appears to be a very "planned obsolescent" design choice. The cooling effect is also less than suggested, but not bad. I appreciate CS being in this space and hope future products are closer in line with marketing.
I'm not sure... Technically my upgrade is excellent! Easy to install, no issues. But I am unsure if it's working as well as it might? I expected to have the extra battery length last all day... Void headset still drains down more quickly than I would like, it's better but still?
Excellent ordering experience, quick shipping, said 3 - 5 days, I got them in two, so love that in and of itself. Installed them last night but haven't had a chance to use them, but just from the test fit on my head, it brings new life to an aging headset that I am reluctant to get rid of because of the sound they produce. So as long as they hold up to time, I am 100% overly joyed to have these cupping my ears!!
Gotta say that this has been a good experience so far. The pads are comfortable and were easy to install. Shipping was fast. Recommended.
