Was able to replace the battery in my Bose headphones. Followed a video on Youtube. Works perfectly.

Received the battery very quickly and everything i needed was included in the package. Headphones now work like they use to.

Was not that hard to solder and place battery in but indicator lights still not functioning right and it’s sad bc I think the cQ 35 2 has a great sound and better than previous and later models.
I wish I could find a reputable repair shop to work it out but they’re hard to find. It was worth the gamble however since I get about 12 hours of use instead of 20. Bottom line; I used really basic soldering and heat gun are it wasn’t that hard to swap out old battery.

Everything went well. My Bose QC35 Headphones are working again. I learned a lot about soldering small electronic circuit boards. Delivery was prompt and the installation video was extremely helpful. I will be using your service in the future.

The battery came in yesterday. Got it installed this afternoon. Everything went well. The headphones work fine and are charging as I type.
Funny story. The 8 year old battery had a 50% charge when I left the gym on Wed. Turned them on this morning and nothing. Tried to charge them, nothing. That battery sure knew when to fail.

The how-to video showing how to install the new battery was very useful. The battery is also better than the original. Shipping was a few days longer than quoted, but still pretty fast considering the package had to cross the border.

This saved me a new pair of headphones. If you know how to solder, the instructions on centralsounds website is enough.

I had zero sodering experience before doing this so I was nervous. I bought some cheap tools from Amazon, watched some Youtube videos, read some articles to understand how to do it. I followed the instructions carefully and it worked! From a dead original battery to like-new headphones! Definitely worth it and better than buying a new one.

Just follow the video. Its clear, easy and only take couples minutes. It looks like the battery has a slightly bigger capacity wish is a good plus and it fits right in there. I cannot compare exactly again original new battery, but so far a got a bit over 22h listening to podcast. let's hope these bad boys last for an other 3 years. Took awhile till it arrived in Austria from the USA but I just found some time and my 3y+ bose are working again after 30min of work

The battery was packaged well, shipped quickly Using the YouTube install guide video from CentralSound was easy and had my headphones fully charged and working again in no time!

Some of the "instructions" on line for this product tell you to start off by disassembling the right side. This is nonsense. The battery is in the left side.
If you have a microelectronics soldering iron, a miniature Philips screwdriver, and a set of tweezers for handling tiny screws, and know how to use them, then it is easy to install this replacement battery. One criticism is that the original equipment battery has red, black and white wires, while the replacement has red, black and blue wires. It would be really helpful to have some detailed instructions on how to perform this operation. For example, the battery is sealed in a compartment with a plastic lid which is glued on. I found that this was easily opened using an EXACTO knife blade, whereas the only instructions online suggested prizing off the lid with brute force.In summary, this is a great product meeting a strong need. However do not give it to your grandma as a Christmas present!

Purchase and shipment were first rate. This battery has Red/Black/Blue leads where the original is Red/Black/White. Solder the blue in the place of the white and you are good to go. The battery had 40% charge when I received it and the headphones powered right up with no issues. I charged it up overnight to 100%. I only started using the headphones with the new battery today so I can't comment on the new battery life but so far so good.

Things you'll want to have are:

- Soldering iron
- Flux
- Solder
- Tweezers
- A heat gun or hair dryer
- Small screwdriver set. I think the screws you have to remove are 1.5mm Philips head but check your favorite installation video for details
- Double sided tape to reinstall the inner mesh cover
- Glue to reinstall the battery door. In my case I used 3M rubber door sealant glue used in automotive applications which seems to have worked fine.
- If your ear pads are beat up consider replacing them at the same time.

The battery is larger than OE, but perfectly fills the battery compartment. It's got an extra 45mAh according to the rating, so this may be where that extra size is.

Provided power leads are plenty long enough.

Headphones powered on after replacement, and are currently charging, so the temp sensor works.

This is the only replacement battery I've been able to find for the QC35, so thank you to Central Sound for stocking it.
