Replacement Ear Pad Cushions for Sony Headphones MDR-V600 MDR-V900 MDR-Z600 7509-HD

I have had my Sony MDR-7509HD headphones since 2008 when I purchased them new. Best I’ve ever owned and still work great except for the ear pads that wear out and flake. The Central Sound ear pads are the second time I have replaced the pads and their quality far exceeds the last replacements. Perfect fit (the last replacements kept falling off) and easy to install. Thank you Central Sound for keeping my incredible headphones as good as new!

These ear pad cushions fit perfectly. The replacement process requires a little patience, but no dismantling required, and the end result is very good.

These earpads are second to none. I've owned these headphones for over 20 years and have gone through many earpads and all them sucked compared to the OEM Sony brand which is obviously discontinued. These pads are as good or better than Sony's. They fit nice and tight in the groove and look great. The is none better out there...trust me. In a world of compromise, Central Sound doesn't. Great job!

Less than a year ago, bought a replacement set from the largest online retailer, that was priced a mere dollar less. They started to flake, but when it got to the point of me having to do a mirror check after wearing them, decided to replace them. So glad I found these! The quality difference is immediately noticeable. The earhole is actually slightly bigger or more accurately shaped than what I had on there. I'm not sure which, but these feel exactly like I remembered them feeling when I first got them so many years ago. Also, because of the attention to detail and quality of material, they were much easier to physically replace. These stayed in the groove as I worked my way around, much more so than the last time I with the inferior set.

These are a perfect replacement for my old Sony headphones! The old earpieces tattered and flaked after years of use. I tried to replace them a few times, but had trouble finding a good fit since Sony had discontinued the SKU for the originals. These are a perfect fit and not too difficult to install with a bit of patience.

The new pads fit very nicely(nice and snug). However..The sound is quite a bit different as compared to my original 'velour' pads. The new sound is more bass oriented,but rather 'distant' and lacks the clarity of my old pads.It may take awhile to become use to a bit different sound(still good though). We shall see. But the value of these pads for the money is excellent!

The quality of the material used is good, the foam is slightly stiffer than the originals, but make a good seal with your ears and are comfortable, they are also slightly smaller than the originals but not by much, maybe 1 or 2 mm, barely noticeable. Would I buy these again? Yes.

Fit perfectly

These are exactly the same as my previous replacement pair I put on years ago. Those first replacements lasted for at least 5-8 years (probably more) before the thin membrane covering the foam disintegrated. Even so, they worked well, and were very comfortable. I expect the new pair to eventually degrade the same way; however, they are very inexpensive and not too difficult to instal. I hope they are still available when they eventually go through the same degradation. I will buy them again.
