I posted a review when I initially received these and I was satisfied with the installation and comfort. Everything that I said in my prior review largely stands the test of time except durability.

I use them during the week at work frequently, but not necessarily every day. I am pretty gentle with them and keep them in their case when I am finished using them. One of the ear pads started opening up recently, which I imagine will only get worse and eventually lead to me to having to get new ear pads. The surface of the ear pads have held up well, but it is disappointing that these ear pads didn't even last a couple years.

The Ear Pad Cushions were super easy to install and now my headphones look and feel like new! Thanks Central Sound!

Sony made removal of the old ear pads and installation of replacements easy and these 3rd party replacements fit no problems. The original foam on the inside is glued in, so the replacement foam doesn't stick as effectively, but the ear pad ensures that the foam stays inside.

These EarPads are better than the originals- highly recommended to keep your perfectly awesome Sony headphones chugging along.

easy to install and okay for an aftermarket replacement

I thought I was going to have to throw away my old Sony headphones after the family pet chewed on and destroyed the ear pad cushions. I'm so glad I found CentralSound!

I bought these for my WH-1000XM2 which I have used almost daily for the last 5 years. The original ear pads started to peel off so a replacement was necessary. The installation process is very easy and the ear pads fit perfectly and are very comfortable. The audio is still superb and I have the impression that these earpads do not alter the sound although I haven't tried the ANC yet with these earpads. Finally, I want to emphasize how nice it is that this product does not only come with ear pads but also ear foams. Because those were also ready for replacement due to the intensive use over the years. Overall superb product!

Fitting the replacement parts was easy. The side sliders are a little bit too expensive.

The parts were easy to fit and saved a otherwise perfectly good pair of headphones from being thrown away.
The instructions were good and the YouTube ’how to’ video was very helpful.
All in all an excellent service !

So far, so good. Everything works and looks as described and I am very happy with the quality of the parts. The side cover sliders were just a bit loose when I installed them; wouldn't stay "clicked in" to the setting I desired. I put one strip of electric tape on the outside arm that the slider surrounded on both sides and that firmed everything up perfectly. I will definitely use your company again, should I need to replace something else.

The ear pad material seems to be good and they installed well enough.

However, they are noticeably smaller than the stock ear pads. I loaned these to someone with smaller ears, and they found them acceptable, but I would have likely sent them back. They're just too snug. And when you place them over the MDR-1000X stock ear pads, you can clearly see they're smaller. So...ok. Not great.

After a couple years of use the new pads really makes them feel like I am wearing new headphones.
