Really pleased with the repair of my Sony WH-1000XM3. After dropping and cracking the headphones, I put up with a temporary solution using some Duck Tape. I replaced the cracked part and swapped out the ear pads while I was at it. They now look and feel like they did when new.
Just installed the parts on my XM3's. Delivery was quick to the UK just 10 days. The fit and finish is fantastic! Nice and sturdy and they look really cool. It was a bit fiddly because the screws are so small and my eyes aren't so good but I got there in the end with no issues. Can go out and about with my XM3's and not be embarrassed because they are held together with tape. I will be getting the parts for the XM4, XB910N and XB900 not because they are broken but because I like the look of the parts and the reassurance they they aren't going to fail at some point. Well done guys.
The part was easy to replace and feels sturdy such that it won’t break. The texture however is rough unlike the smooth OEM pieces. Wish it was smoother.
I first purchased one set of replacement for my headphones which arrived in a really short time (Germany, about two weeks). The set I received had some problems with one side not sitting flush and opening up all the time. I contacted support and asked for some workaround or something. The support responded really fast and instantly assisted my issue. I got sent another set of sides (as the ones I initially received where broken) and it again arrived in a really short time (same 2 weeks from USA to Germany). The new set fits perfectly and I would happily purchase again at this shop. One of the fastest and friendliest supports that I had in a long time. Can only recommend!

Wow, I’m so happy to have found this kit, I managed to keep my broken hinges held together with tape for a while and finally decided to look for repair options.
These replacement parts are a HUGE upgrade over the originals and you can tell they’re significantly stronger and better designed, the headphones feel better than brand new after installation (which wasn’t too difficult following the guide)
Also I’m so glad I got a new set of ear-cup pads to go with the repair kit - I didn’t realise how worn out and limp my originals were until I fitted the new ones, they look and feel so much better.
I feel like I’ve just breathed a new life into my 5 year old headphones, and they now feel stronger than ever and ready for another 5 years at least. Thanks so much!

The process was more finicky than I expected. My hands and fingers are relatively big, and it was hard to fit the screws as fast as I’d have liked.
That being said, once it all clicked, it all fit like a glove!
I just replaced my headband and cushions, hope to have given my trusty XM3s some more years of life :3

It was; after I stopped procrastinating, all it took was a few minutes. lost some screws and had to replace them with 99 cent store ones, but it seems to be working great!

This repair kit worked just perfectly. I was almost going to plunk down another $400 for a new pair of Sony headphones, but found this. The black color doesn’t match the silver model but I think it adds character.

Much better quality than the default side covers that inevitably broke after a few years. Easy to install with a helpful video to guide you through
Doing the assembly was a little tricky, but once it was done the headphones worked like new
The build is better than the other brands. It is easy to install and stress free. The only thing that I would recommend is to smoothen it because it looks like fresh from the 3d printer. Also kinda pricey for a small part.

Very difficult to work with the small screws, once you conquered getting them on it’s a piece of cake.
I bought two side cover sliders, as both sides on my XM3’s were dying. I’ve had these headphones for 5+ years and they’re very-well loved.
PROS: For around 20% of their original value, these two parts have breathed life back into these headphones. These side covers come as advertised in that they seem incredibly durable - far more than the original parts.
CONS: The two pieces are not fully flush with each other at the bottoms. This means my hands feel a ridge between the two parts whenever my hands are on the seam, and my fingernail can easily go between the two pieces. If I squeeze the brackets together, the gaps go away. I would have expected these parts to be flush with each other considering they’re over $30.00 each.
I’m overall happy - I have my beloved headphones back - but I can’t give five stars.
Hi Folks, just want to say that the replacement kit for my Sony WH1000XM3 Headphones is worth it. Fits and works well. Just really have to follow the instruction and you can do it. Saves me money as my headphone is looking brand new. Love it and I highly recommended CentralSound.
