I was excited to see this kit offered to replace the headbands since other brands require you to practically take the whole headset apart which scared me from fixing the headband. This part kit in comparison was easy to install and made my headphones look brand new, combined with the ear pads that were also replaced.

Overall it was a super easy installation but in constant need of force. At one point getting the original plastic housing to separate made the pry tool sort of white on the edges indicating the plastic is breaking. Good thing there's three sides of the pry tool so you could try again until you pry it off. Installation is straightforward, just follow the video and you're good to go. My old headset feels like new again!
After years of wear on the original headband, I decided it was time to get a replacement. The new part arrived quick, it was a breeze to install, and so far (about a week) I have not had any issues in terms of durability or fit. Would definitely recommend, because it’s an easy way to extend the life of the headphones instead of buying a new pair because of worn off leather band.
