The replacement parts came exactly as described and were easy to install with the provided instructions. They clearly use more material than the Sony OEM parts, and the adjustable headband works perfectly. Customer service was helpful and responsive in resolving an ordering mistake on my end.

The feel and strength are great. However there seems to be printing errors of a few millimetres one one half that made it impossible to click together, the pieces were unable to align despite heavy force/clamping as instructed in the tutorial, and I actually ended up cracking the part slightly trying to get it to work even after some filling to see if I could make the parts thinner where they join. I think the connection part of one side was misprinted (thicker than other part) but there seems to not be quality control that checks the full measurements down to the millimetre. A bit disappointing for $80CAD plastic parts.. the way the headphones sit on my head are different as well now. Over all though my headphones are usable now even with one part misaligned/sticking out and don’t feel as thought they would break.

Didn't have too much trouble installing them along with the YT video and once I did, I don't feel as scared to put my headphones in my bag anymore! They feel a lot more rigid than the stock plastic, and I saved like 120 dollars over buying a new pair. Only potential downside is that the original outer pieces with the Sony logo on them don't fit with the new plastic so you have to install both new pieces. It's still worth it though to make these headphones last.
So glad there is an option to repair these headphones - this absolutely is a valuable product. The quality is pretty good, but I did suffer from the "flare" issue worse than was displayed in the Youtube instructions and I wish there was a better way to deal with it than clamping it (it took me several attempts). Otherwise, very happy with the purchase.
